A film photographer who’s brain slows down when he’s behind an analog camera.
My work is shaped by my lived experience growing up in an abusive environment, alongside my love for nostalgia, film directing, and storytelling. Forced into homelessness and stripped of the dreams I once carried, I found solace in revisiting the past—drawing from what used to be and the revolutionary art of those who dreamed before me.
I merge elements of film directing, literature, and storytelling to craft visual narratives within a self-imposed limit of under 40 frames. This constraint serves as a metaphor for the limits and barriers people face in life, challenging me to distill complex stories into concise and impactful sequences.
My practice centers on giving voice to individuals whose lives have been overlooked. These narratives are deeply personal, reflecting the invisible hardships and struggles I endured growing up. Through my art, I advocate for those who feel left behind and forgotten by time, creating space for their stories to be seen and remembered.
